Evaluation of Graduation Design Projects
The evaluation results of Graduation Design Project (GDP) will be presented here for each semester. Each student is evaluated by five different faculty members based on GDP report and poster presentation.

The evaluation process involves grading each student based on the following criterias:

    Project Report Content:

  1. Identification of the project topic and clearness of the aims to be reached in the project (10 points),
  2. The adequacy of the literature review by reviewing published scientific publications related to topic (10 points),
  3. Determination of selected research and/or examination method in the project and its selection criteria (10 points),
  4. The adequacy of analysis, design, simulation, realization and experiments to achieve the determined objectives in the project (15 points),
  5. Examination of the outcome of the project according to current studies in the literature (10 points)

    Report Form and Presentation:

  6. Compliance with the writing rules of the project report (writing in an understandable way with proper grammar, giving a reference list, being clear and legible equations, tables and figures, and explanatory references to them) (10 points),
  7. The organization of the poster presentation and the integrity of the project (giving poster information about the project, being legible the shapes and texts on the poster and giving a descriptive answer to the questions asked) (15 points),

    Originality of the project

  8. Having a design component made by using engineering standards in real conditions in the project (10 points),
  9. The creativity of the project and the originality of the study (10 points),
The x-axis of all the plots indicates students sorted from highest overall average to lowest overall average. For example, 1 means student with highest grade during that semester.

The graphs also illustrate the average value of each plot.
